A Vision from God
Over the last year, the Lord put it on Rev. Walker’s heart to form a new ministry, Grace Tabernacle Community Church. This ministry was inspired by his desire to “show the love of God though a Christ-centered mentality that will grow the community for people from all walks of life”. With the support of his mentor and friend, Bishop-Elect Dr. Anthony Wright, Sr. of By the Spirit Ministries Christian Church and the faithful members his home-based Bible Study, Rev. Walker stepped out on faith to fulfill God’s purpose in his life. Having the benefit of worshipping within several denominations, he was inspired to form a non-denominational fellowship guided by biblical principles
through the Word of God.
Rev. Walker is married to the love of his life, Deirdra Walker. They have three beautiful daughters, Diamond, Brooke and Ava. His favorite scripture is Proverbs 22:6 - Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. In his spare time, he enjoys listening to jazz, reading God’s word and spending time with family and friends. He aspires to reach as many lost souls as possible while remaining humble and unwavering in his commitment to the Lord.
